Insurance at Sage Urgent Care
Urgent care that takes Aetna
Sage Urgent Care is in network with Aetna, including Aetna PPO and HMO plans. If you carry an Aetna card, you can walk in to our Berkeley Heights clinic any day from 8 AM to 8 PM and pay your plan’s urgent care cost-share — usually a fraction of what the same visit costs in an emergency room.
Aetna plans we see
- Aetna PPO and Open Access plans — employer and individual coverage
- Aetna HMO plans
- Employer plans administered by Aetna — the network on your card is what matters, and we check it when you arrive
- Family members on the same policy, including children 3 months and older
- Aetna Medicare Advantage or Aetna Better Health? Call (908) 363-0378 with your plan name before you come and we’ll confirm your coverage.
What you’ll pay
Most Aetna plans set a fixed urgent care copay, and high-deductible plans apply the visit to your deductible first. Medically needed X-rays and lab work done during your visit are billed to Aetna on the same claim. Your urgent care copay is often printed on the front of your Aetna card.
We verify your Aetna eligibility electronically at check-in, so you know you’re covered before you see a provider.
What you can walk in for
