One road from Stirling, Millington, Gillette and Meyersville
Most Long Hill drivers simply take Valley Road east until it becomes Springfield Avenue in Berkeley Heights. From the Meyersville side near the Great Swamp, residents usually head south to Valley Road first. We have free parking in our own lot, right at the door.
We also have dedicated pages for Stirling and Gillette if you want more detail for your section of the township.
Common reasons Long Hill patients walk in:
- Ticks from the Great Swamp edge and wooded lots: removal and Lyme risk assessment
- Turned ankles and wrist injuries from Watchung Hills games, checked with X-ray in the building
- Pre-season athletic physicals for $75
- Children’s fevers and ear pain through pediatric urgent care (3 months and up)
- Garden-tool cuts that need stitches, and minor burns
- Painful urination, sinus pressure or ear infections: UTI, sinus, ear care
The Great Swamp and tick season
The Great Swamp National Wildlife Refuge forms Long Hill’s northern edge, and much of the township is wooded. That makes tick exposure part of everyday life from spring through fall. If you find an attached tick, we can remove it, help identify it, look at how long it was likely attached and decide whether a single preventive dose of antibiotics makes sense. If a rash or fever shows up days or weeks later, come in for evaluation.
Watchung Hills Regional athletes
Long Hill students attend Watchung Hills Regional High School along with students from Warren, Watchung and Green Brook. We treat Watchung Hills athletes for in-season injuries and pre-season physicals. The NJ pre-participation physical is $75 self-pay, walk-in, and the form is signed before you leave.
What a Long Hill visit costs
